Julianne joined Rural Business Support (RBS) in June 2016 and brings extensive experience in grain marketing and farm business advisory services. At Rural Directions (now Pinion Advisory), Julianne provided grain marketing advice and support, delivering training and workshops on grain marketing, business planning, benchmarking, and various project work for approximately five years. As a Grain Merchant, she developed relationships with grain growers across Eastern South Australia, from the Northern Mallee to the South East.

Julianne grew up on a mixed farm, east of the Barossa, which involved sheep, piggery, and cereal cropping. She now manages a similar business with Merino sheep, prime lambs, cereal crops, and pulses. Her understanding of farm businesses, coping with constant change, and dealing with uncontrollable factors is profound. Julianne is well-organised, a logical thinker, and strives to focus on facts and control the controllable. Known for her good listening skills, empathy, and sense of humour, she effectively supports farming families through various challenges.

Julianne holds a Bachelor of Economics (International Agricultural Business) from Adelaide University, a Graduate Certificate of Agribusiness, Diploma of Financial Counselling and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, playing netball and tennis, and going camping and fishing in remote areas.
