Terry Sutton

Terry joined the team in late 2025, bringing a strong mix of hands-on agricultural experience and professional financial expertise to his role. Terry began his career on the familyrun rose farm, before moving into banking with Westpac. He subsequently worked in private agribusiness within the citrus industry and later in public practice as a Chartered Accountant, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the practical and financial sides of running a business.

Growing up on a family farm shaped Terry’s understanding of the realities faced by primary producers. He has seen firsthand how unexpected events, seasonal conditions and market shifts can quickly affect cash flow, and how costs can escalate, or income decline without careful planning.

In his work with RBS, Terry draws on his Chartered Accountant qualification and strong analytical skills to help clients understand their financial position, identify risks and consider clear, informed options. He takes care to explain complex information in plain language, ensuring clients feel supported and confident in the decisions they make during challenging periods.

Outside of work, Terry enjoys motorbike riding and skydiving, and is a passionate AFL supporter, firmly backing the Magpies. He believes in staying grounded and encourages clients to take things as they come, guided by his personal motto: go with the flow, live in the moment, it all works itself out in the end.
