Libby has been a valued member of the team since 2018, working as a Rural Financial Counsellor on the Eyre Peninsula. With a background in psychology across both public and private sectors, she brings a strong understanding of people, behaviors and wellbeing to her work. Libby also has firsthand experience in a South Australian family farming business, including navigating succession and transition, which gives her a practical appreciation of the complexities faced by farming families.
Based in Kimba on the Eyre Peninsula for more than 15 years, Libby is deeply connected to her local community and the agricultural industries that underpin it. Her lived and professional experience allows her to understand the industry and local challenges farmers face in her area. With a Psychology (Honours) degree and a Diploma of Financial Counselling, she supports clients to not only work through their financial position, but also build confidence, navigate systems and identify paths forward, even when all the cards seem to be stacked against them. She encourages a steady, step-by-step approach: one day at a time, one step at a time.
In addition to her client work, Libby contributes to the RBS leadership team through her role as a Regional Mentor, drawing on her experience to support colleagues and strengthen the delivery of financial counselling services across the regions.
Outside of work, Libby remains actively involved in her local community. Living on-farm with her family, she enjoys staying active through running, gym and park runs, and is a familiar face on the sidelines of local sport, supporting her children across tennis, basketball, netball, football and cricket.
