Andrew has been supporting regional business owners with RBS since 2021. With more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, including running his own advisory business, Andrew brings a strong understanding of what it takes to operate a small business in challenging conditions. Holding both a Graduate Diploma in Financial Services and a Diploma in Financial Counselling, he combines technical expertise with a practical, strength-based approach to helping clients regain clarity and confidence.
Having lived in South Australia for 40 years and worked closely with businesses across the Northern Territory for more than 20 years, Andrew is deeply connected to the regions RBS serves. He grew up in regional New South Wales, surrounded by family ties to agriculture and farming, and the droughts of the 1980s left a lasting impression on how natural disasters ripple through rural communities. These experiences inform the grounded, strategic support he offers clients, coaching, mentoring and walking alongside them as they navigate financial pressures and find a way forward.
Outside of work, Andrew is heavily involved in community sport, drawing on a lifetime of playing and coaching, most notably cricket, where he holds a Cricket Australia Level 3 coaching accreditation. He currently coaches the Morialta under-9 netball team and enjoys following local amateur competitions. At home, he and his wife keep busy with their two daughters, two Burmese cats and a Labrador. Andrew also spends plenty of time in the garden tending his veggie patch, and he loves cooking, whether in the kitchen, on the barbecue or firing up the pizza oven. Daily dog walks and regular trips to the gym round out his week.
