Alana joined Rural Business Support (RBS) in 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience across mental health counselling, customer service and professional training. She comes to us after running her own counselling practice supporting clients in the NDIS sector and previously operated a consultancy delivering customer service and business etiquette training—drawing on 13 years of frontline and training roles with Qantas.
Raised on her family’s mixed fruit block in Ramco near Waikerie, Alana comes from a fourth-generation growing family and understands deeply the complexities of primary production, particularly its impact on family life and wellbeing. This background, combined with her qualifications in counselling, hospitality management and adult education, gives her a unique ability to connect with clients and support their needs with empathy and insight.
With a strong customer service ethos and a passion for relationship-building, Alana plays a key role in helping clients access the services RBS offers and supporting the smooth delivery of our programs across the regions.
