Lisel How

Lisel joined RBS in 2020 and brings a strong background in administration and community support to her role. After completing a Graduate Diploma in Business (Administrative Management), she spent 15 years working within a community organisation supporting families and young people. This experience shaped her practical, calm approach and strengthened the organisational and communication skills she now applies to assisting clients with transactional support, reporting and day-to-day administration. She has also completed the Small Business units of the Financial Counselling Diploma and is currently undertaking the Rural units, further building her capacity to support clients with accuracy and care.

Having spent her early childhood on a dairy farm in the South East and now living on a small property in the Mid North, Lisel is deeply connected to rural South Australia. She understands the steady pressures that come with regional life, and this lived experience helps her recognise the realities many clients are navigating. Her training in Mental Health First Aid also supports her compassionate, client-focused approach.

Outside of work, Lisel enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children, reading, and tending the garden alongside her menagerie of chickens and pets. She values the sense of community that comes with regional life and brings that same spirit to her work with RBS.
