Julianne has been a valued member of the RBS team since 2016, working as a Rural Financial Counsellor supporting farming families and rural businesses. She grew up on a family farm and remains actively involved in her husband’s sheep and cropping enterprise, giving her a strong, lived understanding of broadacre farming and the realities of rural life. Prior to joining RBS, Julianne spent nine years working across agribusiness consulting and grain marketing, supporting growers through financial decision-making and relationship management.
Julianne brings an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to her work, with a strong focus on listening and clear communication. Her practical skills include cash flow budgeting, understanding banking and finance products, succession planning, and supporting client wellbeing. Living and working within rural communities means she experiences the pressures and challenges her clients face, allowing her to relate to their situations in a genuine and grounded way.
Julianne holds a Bachelor of Economics (International Agricultural Business), a Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Business, and a Diploma of Financial Counselling (Rural). She also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Mental Health First Aid, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, and is a SAFCA Professional Supervisor. As part of the RBS leadership team, Julianne is committed to continually improving and developing the team to ensure clients receive a high level of service and support.
Outside of work, Julianne enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, whether gardening, camping, fishing or working on the farm. She is actively involved in her local community through volunteering with her local school governing council, sporting clubs, and church.
