Jacob joined the team in 2025, bringing a background grounded in accounting and agriculture. Holding a Diploma of Accounting, he has worked across accounting firms in Port Lincoln, developing strong technical skills supporting primary producers and small businesses. Jacob also spent three years working on the Gorgon Project in Western Australia, gaining experience in large-scale operations, before returning home to the Lower Eyre Peninsula to work on the family farm for six years. This blend of professional accounting experience and hands-on farming has shaped the practical, balanced approach he brings to his role with RBS.
Born and raised on the Lower Eyre Peninsula, Jacob has a strong understanding of how primary producers think and operate. His lived experience gives him clear insight into the financial pressures, seasonal variability and broader economic conditions facing producers today. As an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Accountants, he combines sound financial knowledge with a focus on what matters most to clients, building sustainability, strengthening viability and supporting informed decision-making for the long term.
In his role at RBS, Jacob enjoys working alongside clients as they navigate challenges and plan their next steps. He values clear communication and practical solutions, recognising that every business is different and that producers know their operations best. His local knowledge and steady, approachable manner help clients feel understood and supported.
Jacob lives in Port Lincoln with his wife and two children and enjoys being part of the local community. Outside of work, he values time with family, catching up with mates and staying connected to the region he proudly calls home.
