Chris has been a valued member of the team since 2009, bringing extensive hands-on experience in farming, finance and leadership. Before joining RBS, she spent 18 years as a Finance Manager across a range of organisations. She also served for 40 years as CEO and Business Manager of her family’s cropping and livestock enterprise on the Central Eyre Peninsula, experience that continues to shape the practical, steady support she offers clients.
Living and working in a low rainfall region, Chris understands the realities of drought, fluctuating markets and seasonal pressure. Her background in farm business management, corporate governance and leadership provides strong insight into financial decision-making, business growth and generational transition. She holds a Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling), Advanced Diplomas in Rural Business Management and Agribusiness, and governance training. Chris has served as a Board Director of the South Australian Financial Counsellors Association and currently Chairs the SAFCA Professional Development Committee, while also mentoring colleagues within RBS.
Deeply connected to the Central Eyre Peninsula through family and community, including many years with local netball, Chris is passionate about helping rural families build sustainable businesses. She encourages clients to embrace change with courage and to trust the process.
