Rural Business Support CEO Brett Smith has begun a series of monthly stakeholder events in key regions that aim to inform key service providers who work with primary producers, such as bankers, accountants, agronomists and farm advisors about the free and low-cost services RBS can provide to their clients.

Last week Brett and Judy Goedecke, RBS Financial Counsellor for the Yorke Peninsula and Lower Mid-North region, met with 12 stakeholders and MP Steven Griffiths in Kadina. The presentation covered the Rural Financial Counselling service which is provided free of charge to eligible farm businesses, as well as the various Rural Business Support skill building programs that provide proactive education for financial literacy and business basics for farming success.

The next stakeholder event is at Berri on February 22.
