Sal joined RBS in March 2023 and uses the pronouns She/Her.

Sal grew up in regional South Australia where her parents run a sheep/wheat and tourism business west of Carrieton and is keenly aware of the challenges that regional businesses and communities face.

Prior to becoming a HR professional, Sal had a varied career including holding roles as a law clerk both here and in Ireland, an adult education lecturer with TAFE and private RTOs teaching business and management subjects.  For the last 18+ years she has worked in a variety of HR roles across the mining and resources, agribusiness, and government sectors.  Most recently involved with several change projects within SA government, notably with the Department of Education and SA Health.

She lives with her partner and their bull mastiff, Ziggy in Thebarton.  She is passionate about the arts and live music.  Recent highlights include Peaches tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her 1st album and WOMADelaide.
