Austin joined Rural Business Support in June 2020 as a Rural Financial Counsellor based in our Magill office.
As a qualified Conveyancer, Financial Counsellor and Mortgage and Finance Broker, Austin has spent 35 years in the banking and finance sector, specialising in agribusiness. Austin worked as a Rural Financial Counsellor for 16 years before expanding into banking and farm management. With extensive studies in accounting, Austin has spent the last several years running his own consultancy business.
Austin has a broad knowledge of South Australia’s regions – having previously working in the South East, Murray Mallee, Mid North, Riverland, Fleurieu, Kangaroo Island and West Coast – and is looking forward to utilising his expertise and local knowledge to assist primary producers in the Mid North.
Married to Dianne with four children and three grandchildren, Austin is an active Fire & Rescue marshal with the V8 Supercars and an avid Motorcycle rider.
