‘November hailstorm causes devastating damage for Adelaide Hills apple growers for second year running’
The Advertiser has reported on the cost of a devastating hail storm on November 21 2018 which has damaged up to 70 per cent of Adelaide Hills apple and pear crops.
The storm is feared to have had a similar impact to last October’s widespread hail event.
Rural Business Support is working with growers to help them access financial assistance available to drought-affected farmers through the South Australian Country Women’s Association (SACWA) and to once again pick up the pieces.
