Our Rural Financial Counselling Service in South Australia and the Northern Territory provides business support and information to eligible clients experiencing financial difficulties.
We provide a free, independent, confidential and professional rural financial counselling service to eligible primary producers including cattle producers and fruit and vegetable growers, fishermen, foresters and harvesters and small related businesses who are facing financial difficulties. Pre-arranged, flexible appointments are available at your business, on your property or at one of our regional offices.
Our qualified Rural Financial Counsellors can talk with you about your goals and plans for your business, discuss risk management and other strategies you may have, assess the options which may be available and help to make action plans to work towards business goals.
After Farm Household Allowance
Our Farm Household Allowance (FHA) Coordinator can support you with transitioning off FHA when the three years of payments ends. We can look at other grants your business may be eligible for, help you with applying for other financial support such as a Health Care Card and refer you to a Rural Financial Counsellor if eligible. Whether your FHA payments have stopped or are ending soon, this service is available at no cost to you. More info.
We’ll take a close look at your cash flow and existing loan facilities and assess the profitability of different income streams.

Our Tools are Designed to Assist You
We have developed custom tools to assist in the evaluation of our clients; their financial position and to simplify the task of assessing “where you are now” providing a range of future scenarios.
